About Me

Hello! I’m Jacie and I’m a documentary wedding, portrait and travel photographer in the beautiful city of Adelaide, but I shoot all over the world. I also love photographing food and interiors. I have an eagles eye for detail and the big picture too.

I live in a 110 year old house that was once a shop with my husband and three energetic super funny kids.

My favourite things in the world are my family and travelling, and when I’m not shooting weddings you’ll find me researching and planning our next adventure.

I couldn’t live without my friends and family, good food and art. I spend a lot of time out taking photos and nothing makes me happier than travelling around the world and adding new stamps to my passport.

My love of art is what got me into photography. I’ve been a photographer for 25 years and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I have photographed intimate elopements where I have been asked to be a witness to celebrations with more than 500 guests. In all my years as a photographer I am still amazed by the unique ways we celebrate the Wedding tradition and I absolutely love it. The best thing about being a wedding photographer is that I get to document amazing memories for lovely people that will be treasured forever.

My couples value good photography, and the last thing they want is a photographer who makes them pose all day and bosses them about.

My wedding photography style is relaxed and creative. I capture all the beautiful and fleeting moments, and let you get on with having a brilliant day. For me the bit I love the most about a wedding day is the quiet in between bits, because it’s a chance for you to have a breather and for me to be creative.
